Ledges in the fall

I have only been to the Ledges twice before, both times in mid-August. I didn't make it this year, and am thinking of making the 2+ hour drive the end of this week (Thurs or Fri) or maybe even Sat if the weather cooperates. If anyone could help answer a couple questions, I'd appreciate it. Is the area even still open after Labor Day? If so, is there still nude use (assuming its warm enough), do many people still go nude this time of year and is clothing optional year round? Do...

Wow! What a difference two weeks make. Went to the Ledges yesterday (Aug. 15); the lower path was passable, there was a small beach at the first cove and the lower ledges were exposed. Two weeks ago the lower path was uner about 4 feet of water, the first cove had water all the way into the woods, and there was barely any "ledge" at the actual ledges.

Just wondering if the water level has fallen at all? From the pic of Aug. 3rd it appears not. I was there last Saturday and there was really no beach at all that was not covered with people. Just a very small ledge of rock that I am sure was quickly filled. I ended spending the day at the clothed beach. Clothes aren't the only difference at the beach:
Lots of dogs apparently in "control" of their owners, even though when their owners called them the dogs completely...

Anyone headed to the Ledges this weekend?

Was thinking of heading up to the Ledges Saturday or Sunday. Looks like Sunday it might be warm enough. Is the water any lower? Anybody going there this weekend? I was thinking of bringing my kids, they love it there.

As you can see from the new picture of the level at the lake.......It is up!

I am told by Trans Canada that the water levels should start to drop by
July 1st and our beach back by the middle of the month as long as the
rain holds off through summer

Labor Day Weekend Potluck Supper

at the end of the day on Sunday and remember to bring something to share.
